According to TU 3-460-87, the chemical composition is given for steel grade 20ХГНТР “Select”. In the production of steel grade 20ХГНТР “Select”, an additive of easily oxidizing elements (titanium and calcium) is produced in the center gate (AS No. 981386). The permissible deviations from the requirements of the chemical composition in the finished rolled products, subject to the standards of mechanical properties and other requirements, TU 3-460-87 should not exceed the following values ​​(% mass): carbon ± 0.010%, manganese ± 0.050%, silicon ± 0.020% , chromium ± 0.020%, titanium ± 0.020%, sulfur +0.005%, and phosphorus +0.005%. At the request of the consumer, the steel is supplied with a mass fraction of sulfur up to 0.060%. In the steel, tungsten is allowed up to 0.10%, molybdenum to 0.10% and vanadium to 0.050%.
